Job Summary


We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Regional Manager with 8 to 12 years of experience to lead the Aftermarket lubricants business in Rajasthan. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader responsible for driving sales, enhancing distribution, and ensuring the overall profitability of the region. This role requires a professional who can formulate and implement a comprehensive sales strategy, manage a team, and effectively utilize resources to achieve aggressive business goals.


Key Responsibilities


- Sales and Profitability: Achieve sales targets and ensure the profitability of the region by formulating and executing a regional sales strategy derived from broad directives.

- Distribution and Market Penetration: Design and implement a robust distribution strategy in consultation with the zonal head to improve market penetration and expand the business's reach.

- Target Setting and Management: Set targets for the primary network with due regard to volume growth, outflow, and the extraction of market potential.

- Team Leadership and Development: Direct, motivate, coach, monitor, and appraise subordinate staff to maximize individual and team performance and increase overall efficiency.

- Budget Management: Ensure the optimal allocation and effective utilization of the Advertising and Promotion (A&P) budget.

- Strategy Implementation: Ensure the effective implementation of centrally coordinated strategies, promotions, and campaigns at the regional level.

- Market Intelligence: Establish and maintain a strong market intelligence system to gather information on competitors and the overall business environment.

- Health and Safety: Ensure all aspects of the company's Health and Safety Policy are strictly adhered to within the region.

- Expense and Network Control: Plan, budget, and control all expenses with effective monitoring systems. Map and analyze the secondary network and take suitable action to ensure its stability and growth.


Required Skills & Qualifications


- 8 to 12 years of experience in sales and business management, preferably within the lubricants or a related aftermarket industry.

- Proven experience in formulating and implementing successful regional sales and distribution

strategies.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of coaching and mentoring sales professionals.

- Excellent budgeting and financial management abilities.

- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

- The ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions.


Preferred Skills


- Experience in the lubricants or automotive industry.

- Strong analytical skills for market intelligence and secondary network analysis.
