Position: Key Account Manager - OEM
Experience: 8-12 Years
Job Summary
We're looking for an experienced Key Account Manager - OEM with 8 to 12 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and results-oriented professional responsible for the complete P&L of the OEM business. This includes managing sales volumes, receivables, and contracts, while actively driving business growth. You will be instrumental in conceptualizing and implementing business strategies, fostering strong relationships with OEMs, and ensuring a competitive edge in the market.
Key Responsibilities
P&L and Business Strategy:
- Own the P&L of the OEM business, ensuring profitability and achieving Gross Margin Value Contribution (GMVC) targets.
- Conceptualize and implement comprehensive business strategies, including monthly and annual plans for OEM and direct sales.
- Drive business growth by identifying new genuine oil tie-ups with OEMs and executing strategic initiatives.
Account and Relationship Management:
- Maintain and grow robust business relationships with OEMs, acting as a primary point of contact.
- Conduct detailed mapping of accounts, including contact matrices and opportunity lists, and ensure timely updates.
- Apply consultative and benefit-selling skills to address client needs and provide the best customer experience through smooth product supply and timely query resolution.
Market and Competition Analysis:
- Maintain accurate market information on the business environment and competition activities related to the OEM business.
- Proactively analyze future market requirements and recommend changes or additions to the product portfolio.
Sales Operations & Coordination:
- Ensure the collection of receivables in accordance with the credit policy.
- Coordinate with sales teams for timely royalty payments and execute market support activities with OEMs.
- Conduct periodic training and activities at key customer locations, targeting multiple stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Experience:
- 8 to 12 years of experience in key account management, with a focus on OEM business.
Professional Skills:
- Strong experience in P&L management, business planning, and strategic execution.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
- Strong analytical skills for market and competition analysis.
Domain Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of the OEM business environment.
