Job Title: Assistant Manager Internal Control

Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Internal Control to strengthen our risk management framework and ensure robust compliance across business operations. This role will focus on evaluating and improving internal controls, mitigating risks, managing SAP access rights, and driving process excellence. The ideal candidate is a qualified CA with strong experience in internal audit and controls, preferably within the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of existing internal controls; recommend and implement improvements where required.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement controls and process improvements across business units.

- Identify, monitor, and reduce business and financial risks through systematic control reviews and compliance checks.

- Lead and execute internal control improvement projects and conduct periodic control testing as per business needs.

- Manage SAP access rights, review conflicts, suggest mitigations, and monitor conflicts on a monthly basis.

- Ensure effective delegation of authorities is maintained and documented.

- Provide guidance to employees on internal control best practices, policies, and compliance requirements.

- Perform data analysis to identify risks, trends, correlations, and anomalies, working with large and complex datasets.

- Support other internal audit and control initiatives as required by leadership.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5 to 8 years of experience in Internal Audit & Controls.

- Strong understanding of risks, controls, and business processes (experience in the manufacturing industry is an advantage).

- Hands-on expertise in SAP (mandatory) and ability to work with IT tools for audit and control purposes.

- Proven ability to conduct data analysis and derive actionable insights.
