About the Role:
We are looking for an Import Pricing Manager to manage and optimize pricing for air and sea freight imports. The role involves close coordination with overseas partners, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure competitive pricing, profitability, and seamless deal closures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end import freight pricing for Air and Sea shipments.
- Maintain strong relationships and good rapport with overseas partners and agents worldwide.
- Act as a bridge between the sales team and pricing function to support negotiations and deal closures.
- Handle pricing for ODC / Breakbulk cargo and hazardous & non-hazardous shipments.
- Maintain and update pricing databases, evaluate costs, and negotiate rates with carriers and partners.
- Evaluate resource requirements to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
- Manage complete pricing procedures, including documentation and approvals.
- Support the sales team with tenders, RFQs, and customer quotations.
- Develop and implement import pricing strategies aligned with market trends, customer needs, and company profitability goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in import pricing for air and sea freight.
- Good understanding of ODC, breakbulk, hazardous and non-hazardous cargo.
- Proven ability to negotiate rates with overseas agents and service providers.
- Strong analytical skills for cost evaluation and pricing strategy development.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills to work closely with sales teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in handling tenders and large-volume RFQs.
- Knowledge of international trade lanes and freight market dynamics.
- Exposure to freight forwarding systems and pricing tools.
