Strategic Leadership:
- Implement HR strategies aligned with the company mission, vision, and long-term objectives.
- Drive & implement organizational transformation, productivity, and workforce agility.
- Implement organizational change initiatives and workforce planning.
- Implement HR digitalization and automation initiatives at a unit level.
Talent Acquisition & Development:
- Implement recruitment strategies for skilled and semi-skilled workforce, engineers, and leadership roles.
- Implement robust training and development programs focused on technical skills, safety, and leadership.
- Implement succession planning and leadership pipeline development initiatives at a unit level.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
- Foster a high-performance culture through effective performance management systems.
Performance Management & Culture:
- Drive employee engagement strategies to enhance retention and satisfaction at a unit level.
- Promote a values-driven culture that supports collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Build a performance-driven culture through effective goal setting, appraisal systems, and rewards.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements.
- Administer benefits programs including health, insurance, and welfare schemes for employees.
Industrial Relations & Compliance:
- Maintain compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
- Responsible for HR audits and risk mitigation strategies at a unit level.
- Manage industrial relations for unit, ensuring harmonious labor relations.
- Ensure compliance with Indian Labor Laws, including Shop & Establishment Act, Industrial Disputes Act, and ESI/PF regulations.
- Liaise with government bodies, unions, and legal advisors to mitigate risks and resolve disputes at a business unit level.
HR Operations & Systems:
- Build HR capabilities across the business unit through training and development.
- Manage HR operations including payroll, HRIS, and employee lifecycle management. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of HR metrics and analytics to support decision-making for VP HR.
Preferred candidate profile
- 21-25 years of experience in an HR role, with minimum 8+ years of heading the HR Function for multiple locations/plants/business units.
MBA-HR/MHRM/MHRD/MSW/MLW 2 years, full time
