Function: Commercial Excellence & Strategy Location: Mumbai


Position Title: Assistant General Manager Reports to: GM / VP

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Business analytics - Analysis of Sales performance, forecasting product markets for strategic plan and product strategies.

- Collaborating with various departments like Sales, Mktg, R&D, Production, SCM etc on region
specific product strategy/project.

- Co-ordination with Brand managers for brand plans of key brands and ensuring uniformity is
maintained across all therapies.

- Review of brand plan of key brands & understand the challenges and suggest mitigation plan.

- Leading marketing excellence program with marketing heads to build capabilities & bridge gaps in strategic planning & execution.

- Manage a team of cross-functional associates with a focus on functional and business
development. Areas of focus: Launch Excellence, Digital Commercial Excellence, Portfolio Analytics, Franchise & Brand Plans etc.

- Collaborate with field survey insights and help distil customer insights leveraging internal and
external resources.

- Challenge businesses with insights backed observations and help co-create solutions driving
differentiation and scale.

- Driving operation excellence through Sales force optimization and Sizing, KOL profiling, Targeting and Segmentation, Account planning, incentive designing, liquidation task force, Digital excellence in customer, patient outreach

- Handle Forecasting, financial modeling for new launches and Franchises.

- Lead the analysis of sales performance and market trends, using CRM and other data analytics
platforms. Identify areas for growth and provide recommendations for improvements.

- Identify and implement best practices to streamlines sales processes and improve operational
efficiency. Develop key performance indicators to measure success and ensure alignment with
business objectives. Design Dashboards for insights to higher management.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

- MBBS/M.Pharm/B. Pharm/M.Sc./B.Sc./B.Tech (Biotech) with Business Management (MBA)
degree.

- 8+ years in commercial/marketing excellence in Pharma/FMCG preferred.

CRITICAL SKILLS AND JOB COMPLEXITY:

- Experience in managing large database use and SFA tools.

- Very strong project management skills

- High degree of collaboration in a matrix structure
