Torque Communications - Manager - Public Relations

Torque Communications (torquecommunications.com), an agency with a rich history of 20 years, is looking for competent professionals for managing client relationships, developing and executing content strategies, and fostering media relations.

This multifaceted role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering impactful PR mandates.

Location: Bangalore (Indiranagar), work from office 5 days a week.

Responsibilities:

- Good client engagement personality, ensuring client satisfaction, willingness to engage with clients on regular basis and will be responsible for all deliverables on client mandate from diverse sectors like defense, telecommunication to logistics, technology to e-commerce.

- Collaborate with clients to cultivate key messaging and content that resonates with target audiences.

- This collaboration ensures that the messaging is not only aligned with the clients brand identity but is also designed to appeal to the emotions, challenges, and interests of their target demographic.

- Create compelling and strategic content, including press releases, articles, and other materials based on client requirements.

- Develop and nurture strong connections with journalists from various media organizations that are important to your industry. Establishing these relationships involves regular communication, providing valuable insights, and offering relevant stories that align with their interests.

- Pitch client stories and secure media coverage, ensuring positive visibility for clients in targeted publications.

- Consistently track and assess media coverage to gain insights into how a brand or issue is being portrayed in the public eye.

- Regularly create detailed reports for clients, summarizing key findings on media mentions, trends, and sentiment.

Qualifications:

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in communications or relevant field.

Educational Qualification: Masters degree in Communication, Social Sciences, Research Analysis, or a related domain.

Compensation: Commensurate with ability and years of experience.

Desirable qualifications:

- Work in a PR or Media platform handling various clients.

- Equally important is having a broad and versatile knowledge base that not only captures the attention of major companies at home but also appeals to leading global corporations, including Fortune 500 firms.
