TORQ - Manager - Corporate & Projects Finance

Job Description:

Roles and responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Modelling:

Build advanced financial models including:

- Integrated 3-statement models

- Project finance models

- Trade finance structures

- Acquisition and investment models

- Scenario and sensitivity analyses

- Develop cash flow projections, borrowing base models, and covenant forecasts.

- Evaluate funding structures across debt, structured credit, and hybrid instruments.

- Capital Raising & Lender Materials

Prepare high-quality:

- Information Memorandums

- Bank decks

- Credit papers

- Investor presentations

- Business plans

- Support leadership in fundraising processes with banks, NBFCs, private credit funds, and DFIs.

- Respond to lender due diligence requests with precision and speed.

Strategic Projects:

- Assist in evaluating new geographies, supply chain investments, and processing assets.

- Support M&A initiatives including financial analysis, valuation, and transaction materials.

- Conduct industry and competitor research to support strategic decision-making.

Executive Communication:

- Convert leadership vision into structured financial narratives suitable for institutional audiences.

- Draft investment notes and board-level materials.

- Work closely with senior management on high-impact strategic initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Partner with trading, operations, and risk teams to gather assumptions and validate projections.

- Coordinate with external advisors including investment banks, consultants, and legal teams.

Preferred Candidate:

Education:

- MBA / Master's in Finance, Banking, Investment Banking, or equivalent from a reputable institution.

- CA / CFA candidates with strong modelling experience are also encouraged.

Experience Ideal: 5 to 7 years in one or more of the following:

- Investment Banking

- Corporate Finance

- Structured Finance

- Private Credit / Funds

- Big 4 Transaction Advisory

- Infrastructure / Project Finance teams

Candidates who have operated on the lender/advisory side will be especially valuable.
