Reports to CBO Industry preference Start-Up IC/PM PM Number of reportees 15-20 Position type Full-Time Qualification MBA Marketing Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Retail Operations to lead our retail business and drive consistent growth, operational excellence, and outstanding customer experience. This role is responsible for overseeing all retail operations, managing regional and store-level teams, and ensuring seamless execution of our retail strategy across locations Key responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: - Develop and implement retail strategies aligned with company objectives. - Identify growth opportunities and expansion strategies (e.g., new store openings, franchise development). - Lead annual business planning, budgeting, and forecasting for retail operations. - Revenue and P&L management Operations Management: - Oversee daily retail operations across all stores to ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) are consistently followed. - Monitor store performance metrics (sales, footfall, conversion, etc.) and drive improvement initiatives. - Optimize inventory management, merchandising, and visual presentation. Team Leadership: - Lead and motivate a team of regional managers, area managers, and store leaders. - Provide coaching, training, and performance management to ensure high-performing teams. and customer focus. - Customer Experience: Ensure consistent, high-quality customer service across all retail locations. Monitor and act on customer feedback to improve service levels and engagement. Compliance & Risk Management: - Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies (e.g., safety, labor laws, cash handling). - Mitigate operational risks and maintain audit readiness. Technology & Innovation: - Leverage technology to improve in-store processes, employee productivity, and customer engagement. - Partner with IT and marketing to roll out omnichannel initiatives and in-store digital solutions Required Experiences Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field (MBA preferred). - 10+ years of experience in retail operations, with at least 35 years in a leadership role. - Proven experience managing multi-location retail environments. - Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a results-driven mindset. Preferred Experience: - Experience in [industry, e.g., fashion retail, Beauty,Dental grocery, lifestyle]. - Exposure to omnichannel or digital retail transformation. - Familiarity with tools such as ERP systems, POS software, and retail analytics platforms
