What will you do
Role Overview
- A Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, from daily accounting to long-term strategic planning, and acts as a key advisor to the senior leadership team.
- This role requires strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills to ensure the financial health and growth of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Financial Reporting & Accounting: Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and reconciliations.
- Manage the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP or IFRS standards.
- Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Monitor and control the organization's cash flow, banking activities, and liquidity to ensure optimal utilization of funds and meet business demands.
- Compliance & Internal Controls: Ensure full compliance with all local and national financial regulations and tax laws (e.g., corporate tax, GST, etc.
- Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal control procedures and financial policies to safeguard company assets and ensure data accuracy.
- Audits & Stakeholder Management: Coordinate and lead all internal and external audit activities, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors and tax authorities.
- Review terms/contracts periodically and maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, and other business stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2-5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field (CPA, CA, CMA, or CFA) is highly preferred.
- High proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and reporting tools (e.g., advanced MS Excel, Google sheets, data visualization tools).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle) is essential.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
