TNIFMC is looking to recruit an Investment Analyst for the Emerging Sector Seed Fund. The position will be based out of Chennai and will report to the Fund Manager. Roles & Responsibilities 1. Develop a pipeline of potential investments through industry and market research. 2. Perform in-depth due diligence on potential investment opportunities. 3. Build detailed and robust financial model. 4. Draft investment memorandums. 5. Assist in deal structuring and negotiations. 6. Monitoring the portfolio companies and maintaining relations with investee companies 7. Ensure compliance with all necessary rules and regulations. Desired Profile 1. MBA from a top B School or Chartered Accountant 2. 3 -5 years experience in financial modelling and investment analysis. 3. Strong research and analytical skills. 4. Strong organizational skills, with ability to prioritize, deal with frequent and unexpected changes, and work within tight timeframe. 5. Presentation skills with ability to communicate ideas clearly and confidently, articulate issues and recommend solutions. 6. Knowledge of reading and spoken Tamil is desirable.
