1. Business & P&L Ownership
a. Own the P&L for D2C channels (web & app)
b. Drive revenue growth while maintaining profitability and contribution margins
c. Own strategy and performance.
d. Drive improvements in conversion rate, AOV, retention, and repeat
e. Partner with tech and product teams on UX, checkout, personalization, and platform stability
2. Performance Marketing & Growth
a. Lead customer acquisition across Meta, Google, affiliates, influencers, and app installs
b. Optimize CAC, ROAS, and LTV across channels
c. Work closely with marketing and content teams to ensure performance marketing aligns with target
d. Own the full customer journey from acquisition to loyalty
e. Drive CRM initiatives across email, WhatsApp, push notifications, and SMS
f. Build programs to improve repeat purchase frequency and customer lifetime value
3. Merchandising & Drops Planning
a. Collaborate with product, design, and supply chain teams on drop calendars and D2C-exclusive collections
b. Ensure optimal inventory planning, visibility, and sell-through on owned platforms_
4. Data, Analytics & Insights
a. Track and analyse key D2C metrics including GMV, net revenue, CAC, LTV, conversion, AOV, and retention
b. Use data to drive experimentation, funnel optimization, and personalization
5. Customer Experience & Operations
a. Own end-to-end D2C customer experience including delivery, returns, refunds, and customer support coordination
b. Drive improvements in NPS, app ratings, and overall customer satisfaction
6. Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration
a. Build, lead, and mentor high-performing D2C, growth, CRM, and analytics teams
b. Work closely with brand, tech, supply chain, finance, and leadership teams to align D2C goals with overall business strategy
Qualifications
- MBA from a premier business school preferred.
- Prior experience with a top-tier consulting firm is an added advantage.
- 10+ years of experience in growth, strategy, or business leadership roles.
- Strong exposure to fashion, lifestyle, e-commerce, D2C, or omnichannel retail.
