Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Manager specializing in Finance Controlling, Accounting & Reporting. The ideal candidate must hold a Certified Cost Management Accountant (CMA) certification with 3+ years of relevant experience. This critical role focuses on meticulous cost management, reporting, and supporting the financial closing and budgeting process, requiring strong proficiency in SAP-based costing, activity rate derivation, and cost center control.

Key Responsibilities:

Costing and SAP Management:

- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of costing principles, Bill of Materials (BOM), and routing.

- Expertise in performing both Excel-based and SAP-based costing.

- Possess thorough knowledge of the Cost Run methodology from SAP. Responsibilities include resolving encountered errors, re-executing steps, or the entire costing run until the cost estimate is error-free before marking and releasing it.

- Experience in deriving critical cost components, including activity rates and machine hour rates.

Cost Control and Analysis:

- Manage and perform continuous monitoring and analysis of cost center-wise expenses and control.

- Train and guide the bill booking team on correct cost-center-wise booking procedures.

- Monthly monitor and correct cost center-wise expense trends.

- Execute and manage primary and secondary cost allocations.

Inventory and Valuation:

- Conduct detailed inventory analysis and valuation.

- Possess strong knowledge of inventory valuation methodologies and a deep understanding of how system inventory valuation works within the ERP.

Reporting and Audit Support:

- Provide comprehensive support for monthly Management Information Systems (MIS), including active support in the month-end SAP closing process.

- Prepare essential Month-End Journal Vouchers (JVs), checking trends and analyzing costs.

- Provide active support during external and internal audits by answering questions and providing requested documentation, and aiding in post-audit management responses.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Support the annual budget and forecast processes, including creating accurate short-term and long-term detailed budgets under various scenarios.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Commerce. MBA Preferred.

- Certification: Must be a certified Cost Management Accountant (CMA).

- Experience: 3+ years of experience in the accountancy field or an equivalent role, specifically in finance controlling or cost accounting.

- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SAP Costing (S/4HANA or ECC).

- Analytical Skills: Excellent ability to perform detailed cost analysis, variance analysis, and trend identification.

- Communication: Strong communication skills for training team members and liaising with auditors and various departments.
