Job Role:
We are seeking a talented People Business Partner to join our team at Titan. As a People Business Partner, you will be responsible for partnering with the retail division to drive HR initiatives and support the overall business strategy.
Business Partnering: Manpower planning:
- Liaison with the business to gather the manpower requirements based on the new capability requirements and growth strategy.
- Present the previous manpower related data viz. attrition, cost of lost talent, budgeted positions for the previous year, etc. to present to the business and develop the first cut numbers.
- Provide the requisite support in presenting the overall manpower requirements to the MD and CEOs to finalise the manpower requirements.
Business Partnering: L&D, Career and Succession Planning:
- Identify employees who have been stagnant in a role and encourage for career movements in discussion with the manager.
- Undertake discussions with the function heads for identification of critical positions.
- Participate in talent review conversations with the function heads to identify the potential successors and ELP candidates.
- Liaison with the managers to refine the IDPs and share with the L&D team.
- Ensure that training needs are met by ensuring delivery in liaison with the L&D team.
Business Partnering: Performance Management:
- Conduct the goal labs with the business to ensure the cascading of the business score card ensuring horizontal and vertical alignment.
- Ensure that goal setting process and review is completed within the timelines through periodic follow up with the managers & employees.
- Undertake goal audits to ensure that the goals are set appropriately as per the guidelines.
- Follow up with the managers for the completion of quarterly and year-end review process within the prescribed guidelines.
- Facilitate the first level (individual level) calibration (performance & promotion) meeting with the managers and ensure the alignment of ratings to the calibration guidelines.
- Identify the employees who fall in the PIP and brief them about the performance evaluation plan in liaison with the business.
- Monitor the performance of the employees periodically and recommend appropriate action post completion of the period.
Business Partnering: Employee Relations:
- Manage connect with the employees and manage any escalations / grievances raised by the employees appropriately as per the guidelines.
- Undertake investigations for allegations raised such as harassment, fraud, etc. as per the principles of natural justice and prepare report on the findings and conclusions.
- Undertake disciplinary actions in consultation with senior stakeholders and implement the same as per the prescribed guidelines.
- Review the employee engagement score and assist the function heads in action planning basis the employee engagement scores.
- Undertake employee exit conversations if required to retain employee / understand the cause of exit and recommend appropriate actions in case of any relevant findings.
Business Partnering: Internal Consulting:
- Liaison with the business in organization design / structuring exercise aligned to the business requirements.
- Evaluate the manpower numbers / organization periodically and recommend modifications to ensure structural alignment.
- Design / review the sales incentive scheme periodically with the changing complexity & challenges of the business and track the same to ensure adherence to the guidelines.
- Drive the OD initiatives across the organization and ensure sustenance of the same through effective management of change.
Business Partnering: Recruitment & Selection:
- Conduct the selection process of the candidates for the advertised position and provide recommendations based on the interview.
- Ensure that interviews are scheduled in liaison with the appropriate stakeholders and selection of candidate aligned to the requirements.
- Participate in the salary negotiation with selected candidates in coordination with the recruitment team basis the inputs from the C&B team.
- Review the documents shared by the employees to ensure that its as per the defined guidelines and ensure that offer is extended to candidate.
- Undertake new employee induction to acquaint the employee with the role & firm policies.
Work Experience:
Education:
MBA in HR preferably from a premier college
Relevant Experience:
2-5 years / HRBP preferably in a retail / FMCG Organization
