Job Summary:
- Overall Business and Brand Management for international watch brands.
This includes:
- Development of Annual Business and Marketing Strategy and Action Plans
Product Portfolio Management -
- Product Portfolio Strategy and Implementation - Product Portfolio Architecture, New Product Selection, Pricing
- Product Lifecyle Management - Product Range Optimization
- Product Distribution Strategy - New Product Distribution Plan, New Store Placements
- Brand Communication & Presentation -
- GTM for New Products
- Planning and execution of Brand Campaigns, Events
- Management of Brand presentation at stores (VM Displays, In Store Communication etc.)
- Lead co-ordination and relationship with global partners for international brands
Process Contributions:
Marketing: Strategy development:
- Development of mid to long term strategy for the individual brands and develop a road map based on the opportunities identified in the market and consumer research that is aligned with the vision of the organization.
- Provide consumer insights and market study to define the competitive positioning of the brand/ product
Product Portfolio Management & Distribution Strategy:
- Formulate the Product Portfolio strategy based on understanding of consumer needs and competitive environment. Provide product briefs to the brands in alignment with the same.
- Select New Products every season for launch into the Indian market based on Product Portfolio Strategy
- Pricing of New Launches based on the Product Range structure and competition
- Allocate New Launches to Sales Channels based on Sales potential. Identify expansion opportunities with Sales Channels for the brand and provide expansion support.
- Optimize the Product range by trimming slow movers.
Marketing: Go to Market Strategy and Brand Presentation:
- Develop and execute a Go to Market plan for seasonal new launches viz. VM Collaterals, CRM communication, PR, Social Communication, Training etc.
- Oversee direction on Visual Representation of the brands in stores - Campaign Visuals refresh, Planogramming, Highlight Products, Props, Fixture Design etc.
Marketing: Brand Management: Brand Building & Performance Monitoring:
- Define the Communication and Media Strategy relevant for the brand in the Indian market - Digital, Events, OOH, Social etc.
- Allocate budget to each activity based on the committed annual brand budget.
- Monitor the performance of the branding initiatives / campaigns periodically and recommend necessary course corrections if mandated.
