Role Overview:
As the Lead-WiMI Markets & Content for Tanishq, you will own the strategic planning and execution of all marketing activities within identified markets. You will play a pivotal role in localizing Tanishq's national campaigns to reflect regional cultures, festivals, and customer aspirations. Managing alliances with premium partners and digital and social media initiatives, you will strengthen Tanishq's emotional connect and market leadership in the jewellery segment.
Key Responsibilities:
Regional Campaign Ownership
- Customize and execute Tanishq's national campaigns with sensitivity to local traditions, languages, and festivals such as Diwali, Akshaya Tritiya, and wedding seasons.
- Drive integrated ATL, BTL, digital, and in-store marketing initiatives that amplify Tanishq's brand values and product heritage.
- Collaborate with retail teams to design and implement impactful store-level events and promotions.
Strategic Alliances & Partnerships
- Build and nurture relationships with regional wedding planners, fashion designers, luxury lifestyle brands, event organizers, and influencers to create meaningful co-branded campaigns.
- Lead initiatives that enhance customer experience and drive footfall through gifting partnerships, premium collaborations, and community engagement.
- Ensure all alliances uphold Tanishq's commitment to trust, craftsmanship, and Tata's ethical standards.
Digital & Social Media Leadership
- Develop and implement zone-specific social media and content strategies that engage regional audiences on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging channels.
- Collaborate with the creative and digital teams to produce localized content highlighting regional stories, customer testimonials, and influencer endorsements.
- Monitor digital campaign performance and optimize based on insights and evolving consumer trends.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Lead and mentor a team of regional marketing executives and coordinators to deliver consistent excellence.
- Work closely with retail operations, product, and digital teams to align marketing activities with sales objectives and customer needs.
- Act as the voice of the region within the broader Tanishq marketing organization, sharing learnings and best practices.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Set clear KPIs for regional campaigns, alliances, and digital efforts; track progress and ROI.
- Provide timely reports and insights to the National Marketing Head and senior management.
- Use consumer feedback and market data to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 10-15 years of progressive experience in marketing leadership, preferably with jewellery, luxury retail, or lifestyle brands.
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale regional marketing campaigns and strategic partnerships.
- Strong digital marketing acumen, with hands-on experience in social media strategy and content development.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep understanding of regional cultural nuances, festivals, and customer buying behaviors.
- Passion for jewellery and appreciation of heritage and craftsmanship
