Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead-People Business Partner (Corporate) to join our dynamic team. As a Lead-People Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in driving our people strategy and ensuring the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives

- Act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, providing guidance and support on all people-related matters

- Lead and manage the HR team, providing mentorship and coaching to ensure their professional growth and development

- Oversee the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and offboarding

- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations

- Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives to create a positive and inclusive work culture

- Partner with business leaders to identify and address talent gaps and develop succession plans

- Analyze HR metrics and use data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HR processes and practices

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

- Strong understanding of HR best practices and labor laws in India

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

- Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives

- Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Experience in the consumer goods industry is a plus

Additional Parameters:

- This is a full-time, regular/ permanent position

- The role reports to the Head of People Function

- The position is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

- Some travel may be required for business purposes.

Work Experience

Education: Master's degree in human resources, or a related field.

Experience: at least 12+ years in leading and managing retail units or similar roles, including a significant portion in a leadership role.

Experience working in a retail environment is highly beneficial, as it provides insight into the unique challenges of this setting.

In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations applicable to the retail stores.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
