Role Description:

- This role goes beyond managing code - it is about scaling a high-performance team and owning delivery of critical solutions for global customers in electronics, mobile, and semiconductor automation.

- You will combine a deep foundation in industrial software with the ability to integrate future-ready technologies (AI, digital twins, robotics frameworks, IoT) into manufacturing automation. Most importantly, you will inspire, grow, and lead a team that delivers on time, every time. We ship a complete automation station within 15 weeks, from design to manufacturing to software deployment and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Capability Development:

- Establish TEAL's software engineering culture: agile methods, ownership-driven execution, and continuous learning.

- Develop internal competencies in PC-based automation, robotics frameworks, and Industry 4.0.

- Act as a coach and mentor, nurturing future leaders within the team.

Platform & Product Development:

- Standardize libraries, frameworks, and coding practices to accelerate product development.

- Balance short-term delivery with a long-term platform vision.

Execution Excellence:

- Collaborate with design, hardware, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration.

- Set up robust tracking mechanisms, reviews, and escalation processes to de-risk delivery schedules.

Innovation & Future Technologies:

- Drive integration of digital twins, virtual commissioning, simulation-based validation.

- Leverage AI/ML for predictive maintenance, adaptive control, and vision intelligence.

- Implement IoT, edge computing, and cybersecurity practices to make systems future-proof.

Candidate Profile:

Experience:

- Proven track record of building and leading software teams to deliver automation solutions.

- Hands-on experience with controls software (PLC, HMI, SCADA) and PC-based automation.

- Experience delivering customer projects under tight timelines in electronics, semiconductor, or high-precision automation preferred.
