Overview:

Titan, a leading digital company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect- Data Moduler to join our Systems team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data architecture to support our digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement data architecture for Titan's digital systems

- Develop data models and data flow diagrams to support business requirements

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop solutions

- Ensure data integrity and security across all systems

- Identify and implement data governance policies and procedures

- Monitor and optimize data performance and storage

- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data architecture and recommend improvements to current systems

- Train and mentor junior data team members

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture and modeling

- Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices

- Proficiency in SQL and database management systems

- Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes

- Knowledge of data governance and compliance regulations

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Additional Parameters:

- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure)

- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)

- Certification in data architecture or related field is a plus

Work Experience:

Must-Have Experience:

- 8-12 years total experience in Data Engineering / Analytics

- Minimum 5+ years in Data Architect / Enterprise Data Modeler role

Strong expertise in:

- Dimensional Modelling (Star/Snowflake Schema - Kimball)

- Data Vault / 3NF modelling

- Data Warehousing concepts

- Experience in designing Conceptual, Logical & Physical Data Models and Data Modelling tools such as ERWin, ER Studio, SAP Power Designer

- Strong SQL knowledge with performance optimization skills

- Hands-on exposure to Cloud Data Platforms (AWS / GCP)

- Experience with modern data warehouses (Redshift / Big Query)

- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines and source-to-target mapping

- Experience in Agile methodology and AWS DevOps (CI/CD)

Key Responsibilities:

- Engage with business stakeholders (Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Operations) to understand KPIs and reporting requirements

- Translate business requirements into scalable enterprise data models

- Perform source system analysis and data mapping
