We are looking for a dynamic and visionary Head of Events to lead the planning, execution, and scaling of high-impact events that align with our mission.
- This role will be responsible for conceptualizing and delivering both virtual and physical events-including workshops, summits, hackathons, and community meetups-that engage our diverse audience and strengthen our brand presence.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Planning :
- Design and implement an annual events calendar aligned with Impacteers' strategic goals.
- Develop event formats that support career enablement, sustainability, and entrepreneurship.
Event Execution :
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of events-venue selection, vendor coordination, logistics, budgeting, and staffing.
- Ensure seamless delivery of both in-person and virtual events using tools like Zoom, Hopin, or Airmeet.
Community Engagement :
- Build and nurture relationships with universities, corporates, NGOs, and ecosystem partners.
- Drive participation and engagement through creative campaigns and community outreach.
Team Leadership :
- Manage a team of event coordinators, interns, and volunteers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, partnerships, and product teams.
Performance & Reporting :
- Track KPIs such as attendance, engagement, feedback, and ROI.
- Prepare post-event reports and continuously improve event strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in event planning and execution, preferably in EdTech, social impact, or startup ecosystems.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale events and community programs.
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Skills :
- Familiarity with sustainability, social entrepreneurship, or career development domains.
- Experience with hybrid event platforms and digital engagement tools.
- Creative mindset with a passion for building communities and experiences.
