About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to head our Equities division. The role demands proven expertise in equity markets, portfolio management, team leadership, and regulatory compliance. The Head of Equities will play a pivotal role in driving profitability, managing risk, and maximizing return on capital employed while ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain the business strategy for the Equities division.

- Manage daily operations of equity trading, research, and investment teams.

- Ensure adherence to SEBI and other regulatory requirements in equity operations.

- Build and maintain strong client and institutional relationships.

- Inspire, motivate, and lead the equities team to deliver superior results.

- Drive innovation in research methodologies, portfolio strategies, and market approaches.

- Interpret, analyze, and present sales, trading, and financial performance data.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective marketing and product positioning strategies.

- Maintain profitability and maximize return on capital employed (ROCE).

- Address complex and diverse managerial problems with strategic solutions.

Required Skillsets

- Strong expertise in equity markets, trading strategies, and portfolio management.

- In-depth knowledge of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and equity research.

- Excellent understanding of SEBI regulations, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
