Role Overview:
We're seeking an experienced Business Head to lead and scale our Early Career division, with complete P&L ownership and responsibility for strategic growth. The role involves building a sustainable business model, driving revenue through multiple channels, optimizing costs, and creating strong employer partnerships to enhance placement outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive P&L metrics including revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency
- Develop and execute business strategy to scale operations across target markets
- Build strategic partnerships with employers, educational institutions, and manpower solution providers
- Lead pricing strategy, cost optimization, and resource allocation
- Drive employer engagement to strengthen placement ecosystem
- Establish scalable processes and systems for business growth
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including sales, operations, and partnerships
- Create innovative business models suitable for different market segments
- Drive strategic initiatives to enhance market positioning and competitive advantage
- Ensure operational excellence and quality delivery across programs
Required Experience & Skills:
- 15-20 years of experience with significant P&L ownership in education/skilling sector
- Strong track record of scaling businesses in unstructured markets
- Experience in building employer partnerships and placement networks
- Deep understanding of early career segment and employment ecosystem
- Exposure to edtech business models and digital transformation
- Experience in working with hiring/staffing companies preferred
- Strong understanding of the vocational training and skills development landscape
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholders including government bodies
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams
- Experience in developing strategic partnerships and business alliances
