JOB PURPOSE Preparation and execution of sales plan for the assigned vertical; assisting team lead in meeting team sales targets; manage growth in business by increasing the yield from existing clients and tapping new clients with the objective of achieving revenue targets as per plan and ensuring sustained growth - Need to have good experience in 1) Media, handling the corporate vertical. 2) Brand solutions/ ideations / partnership roles. - Exp across atleast 2 of the following needed - Print/digital/TV in order of preference. - 7-12 yrs of exp. This is flexible if the candidate is good. Job Profile : This is a critical role for OMS. The person will handle the selected top/largest advertisers of Bangalore & completely own those accounts and monetize them across the OMS offerings - Print/digital/TV/Special IPs. This will be an individual contributor role. The person would be interacting with clients directly & pitching solutions & ideas. Since we need a fairly experienced candidate, could call this role - Lead Strategic Accounts or Head Key accounts. This role will report to Abhinash who is the Corp category head or to me directly based on the candidates experience. Would be responsible for: - Plan effectively for achieving assigned targets, provide revenue projections, report sales target achievement on daily basis - Business development -follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity, building network of potential newer clients, understand business requirements and propose solutions in sync with the client's objectives - Initiate regular interactions with key business partners; give after sales service, increase revenue from existing accounts, ensure complete understanding of client brief and client requirements - Monitoring competitor's activities, map the market via field activity - Maintain strong relations with important media planners / agencies to keep track of major publicity events being organized by clients - Follow up and closure of sales with editorial team and completion of approval process - Audit the quality of content being sent for publishing - Confirm final deliverables to the client and secure RO/ payment from the client. - Undertake execution of assignment in light of the defined mandates given by the client and as per brand guidelines, escalate issues on time leadership which are hindrances to execution of sales - Prepare a variety of status reports as allocated - Other duties as assigned
