About the role:

Director - Business Development (Global Business)

As Director - Business Development, you will work on offering solutions to clients related to latest solutions / applications of AI to solve complex business problems and demonstrate significant business value to various clients. In doing so, you will closely collaborate with a team of consultants, data scientists and data engineers. You will lead the client acquisition, manage new sales revenue, support towards growth of the account, and articulate value delivered. On a typical workday, you could be doing one or more of the following:

- Identify new prospects and opportunities for Tiger's solutions and services.

- Propagate Tiger's value proposition, solutions to prospects effectively.

- Manage relationships with prospects and clients (acquired by you).

- Participate in AI, Data and Analytics events and Industry events with focus on client acquisition.

- Keeping updated on latest trends and opportunities in the Data and AI industry.

- Acclimatizing oneself with varied problem statements and solutions for different target industries.

- Ability to tell the solutions and services story to clients.

- Participate in workshops with prospects to identify high impact problems that could be solved through Data and AI based solutions.

- Translate business problems (sometimes ambiguous) into clear opportunities.

- Work closely with the Pre-Sales and BD teams.

- Demonstrate expertise in techno-functional consulting & stakeholder management capabilities.

- Contribute to organization building through sharing best practices and latest Industry trends.

- Represent Tiger in the assigned geography.

Required Skills, Competencies & Experience:

- Experience of business development and pitching solutions to clients.

- Experience in prospect / client management and relationships.

- Experience in winning bids from new prospects in competitive scenarios.

- Experiencing in qualifying and prioritizing prospect opportunities (with ability to let go a losing scenario).

- Experience in managing Sales funnel.

- Experience in taking support from Pre-Sales and Practices to create winning value propositions and proposals for new clients.

- Experience in commercial negotiations with smart pricing.

- Experience in identifying decision makers and key influences in the prospect / client organisation.

- Ability to translate high level business problems to a possible solution offering.

- Excellent presentation and communication skills.

- 10+ years of relevant experience.

- MBA from reputed institute preferred.

- Designation will be commensurate with expertise/experience. Compensation packages among the best in the industry.
