



JOB DESCRIPTION:
Role Overview:
The Bid & Proposal Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end bid lifecycle, from opportunity identification to proposal submission. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality, compliant, and competitive proposals for government sector clients. With a strong focus on government sector clients, this is a hardcore business development and sales role, demanding a versatile, multi-functional contributor as the business unit is in its formation phase.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Bid Management:
- Manage the complete bid lifecycle (EOI, RFP, RFQ, Tender submissions)
- Analyze tender documents, eligibility criteria, and scope requirements
- Develop bid strategy, win themes, and value propositions
- Ensure timely submission of bids with complete documentation
2. Proposal Development:
- Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical, finance, legal, operations)
- Create compelling presentations, case studies, and solution documents
- Ensure compliance with RFP requirements and formatting guidelines
3. Stakeholder Coordination:
- Coordinate with SMEs, delivery teams, and leadership for inputs
- Liaise with partners, vendors, and consortium members (if applicable)
- Manage communication with clients during pre-bid queries
4. Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain repository of past proposals, templates, and credentials
- Ensure all submissions meet compliance, legal, and quality standards
- Track bid submissions and maintain audit trails
5. Market Intelligence:
- Track upcoming tenders and business opportunities (GeM, eProcurement portals, etc.)
- Analyze competitors and previous winning bids
- Support business development strategy with insights
