About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Transformation Leader to drive the organization's finance digitization, planning modernization, and process transformation agenda.

The role will serve as the bridge between Finance, Business, SAP teams, and implementation partners to design and deliver best-in-class financial planning, reporting, and decision-support capabilities. The individual will be responsible for driving transformation initiatives across budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, management reporting, financial close, and performance management leveraging SAP S/4HANA Finance and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning.

The ideal candidate will combine strong finance process expertise with deep SAP FICO knowledge and hands-on SAC Planning implementation experience. This role will play a critical part in enabling a data-driven finance organization through process standardization, automation, analytics, and digital adoption.

Education:

- B.Tech / BE preferred

- MBA, CA, CMA, or equivalent qualification preferred

Experience:

- 10-15 years of experience in Finance Transformation, SAP Finance Consulting, Enterprise Planning Solutions, or related domains.

- Mandatory experience in at least one end-to-end implementation of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning, including business process design, implementation, testing, and business adoption.

- Strong hands-on functional expertise in SAP FICO and SAP S/4HANA Finance.

- Experience in FMCG, Agrochemicals, Consumer Products, Manufacturing, or similar industries preferred.

- Proven track record of leading finance transformation initiatives involving planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analytics.

- Experience working with Finance Leadership, Business Teams, SAP Teams, Technology Teams, and Implementation Partners.

- Experience with Anaplan, SAP BPC, Oracle EPM, or similar planning solutions will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Finance Transformation:

- Drive finance transformation initiatives aligned with organizational objectives and business priorities.

- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes through digitization, automation, standardization, and analytics.

- Promote best-in-class finance practices and support the evolution of a modern digital finance operating model.

- Drive adoption of digital finance solutions across business and finance teams.

2. SAP Finance Solutions:

- Act as the functional lead for SAP Finance processes covering GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Internal Orders, COPA / Margin Analysis, and Financial Closing & Reporting.

- Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions and process improvements.

- Partner with SAP functional and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of finance initiatives.

- Support continuous improvement and optimization of SAP Finance processes.

3. FP&A, Planning & Performance Management:

- Lead the design, implementation, and adoption of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning as the enterprise planning platform.

- Partner with Finance leadership to transform budgeting, forecasting, annual operating planning, and management reporting processes.

- Design and implement Driver-Based Planning, Rolling Forecasts, Scenario Planning, What-If Simulations, Profitability Analysis, and Financial Performance Management.

- Establish integrated planning processes connecting financial, sales, manufacturing, and supply chain plans.

- Improve planning cycle efficiency, forecast accuracy, and decision-making capabilities.

4. Reporting, Analytics & Automation:

- Enable finance teams with enhanced reporting, analytics, and planning capabilities.

- Collaborate with Data & Analytics teams to develop finance dashboards and KPI frameworks.

- Promote adoption of self-service reporting and analytics tools.

- Identify opportunities for automation, process simplification, and improved controls.

- Leverage data and analytics to support informed decision-making across finance functions.

5. Stakeholder & Vendor Management:

- Collaborate closely with Finance Leadership, Business Teams, SAP Teams, Technology Teams, and External Partners.

- Lead business workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution design discussions.

- Manage relationships with implementation partners and solution providers.

- Ensure alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.

- Influence senior stakeholders and drive adoption of transformed finance processes.

6. Change Management & Adoption:

- Drive organizational adoption of finance transformation initiatives.

- Develop training, communication, and change management plans.

- Act as a trusted advisor to finance stakeholders on process transformation and technology enablement.

- Ensure successful transition from legacy processes to digital finance platforms.

Desired Competencies:

- Strong SAP FICO functional expertise with SAP S/4HANA Finance experience.

- Mandatory hands-on implementation experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning.

- Strong understanding of FP&A processes including Budgeting, Forecasting, Long Range Planning, Management Reporting, Scenario Modelling, Profitability Analysis, and Financial Performance Management.

- Experience in Finance Process Transformation and Business Process Re-engineering.

- Understanding of finance analytics, planning models, and enterprise reporting frameworks.

- Familiarity with Anaplan, SAP BPC, Oracle EPM, or similar planning solutions is preferred.

- Knowledge of AI-enabled finance use cases, predictive forecasting, and finance automation will be an advantage.

- Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership, ability to influence senior stakeholders, and excellent communication skills.
