Thoucentric - Legal Technology Business Analyst

Job Description:

The Legal Technology Business Analyst will work closely with Legal, Compliance, Finance, Procurement, and business teams to support the design, implementation, and adoption of a legal technology platform. The role focuses on improving legal workflows, ensuring compliance, and driving process automation and data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

- Gather and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements from stakeholders

- Analyse legal workflows and map AS-IS / TO-BE processes

- Identify automation and standardisation opportunities

- Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria

- Collaborate with product owners, architects, vendors, and development teams

- Support system configuration, testing, UAT, and defect tracking

- Ensure solutions meet quality, security, and compliance standards

- Support change management activities including training, demos, and user documentation

- Provide post go-live support to ensure smooth adoption

- Define and track legal KPIs and dashboards

- Ensure regulatory, legal, and data privacy requirements are built into the platform

Requirements:

- Strong experience in requirement gathering and stakeholder management

- Good understanding of legal processes (contracts, matters, billing)

- Experience with workflow analysis and process mapping

- Ability to write functional specs, user stories, and test cases

- Exposure to system integrations (ERP, CRM, DMS, e-signature)

- Experience supporting UAT and system testing

- Knowledge of data privacy, compliance, and access controls

- Strong communication and documentation skills

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Information Systems, or a related field

- 3 + years of experience as a Business Analyst, Legal Ops, or Legal Tech professional

- Experience working with legal technology platforms (CLM, matter management preferred)

- Familiarity with Agile or SDLC methodologies

- Certification in Business Analysis or Legal Operations (preferred
