We are looking for a horizontal process-driven thinker & P&L owner for the role of an EIR - Entrepreneur in Residence for a beauty/FMCG brand based out of Delhi. The objective of the EIR role is to lead the early stage validation and product-market-fit - An ideal candidate is a prompt learner who is ready to make an immediate impact on revenue & profit growth at a fast-growing start-up and puts execution over everything else. What you'll work on: - Drive revenue across ecommerce & D2C to build a new-age beauty brand - D2C Demand Generation - Drive and optimise traffic/ store walk-ins to achieve business goals. - Define the communication target, and set communication objectives at a medium level. - Basis consumer insights, constantly identify new segments to target. - Experiment with new platforms and mediums on an ongoing basis. - Optimise creative performance through experiments and scaling up winning ideas. - D2C Conversion Optimisation/Funnel Management - Deliver a strong website engagement and conversion rate. - Promote relevant SKUs based on performance, availability, and revenue uptick. - Ensure that website communication is relevant, fresh, and effective. - Make sure that landing and listing pages are optimised at all times. - Ecommerce - Own working with agency/ecommerce team at Think9 - Responsible for mapping the overall strategy of the identified category for the brand and managing the P&L - Build Go-To-Market (GTM) for a given category/product, Execute the GTM and drive key performance indicators - Putting out fires in various functions. Building a startup means there would be new fires every week. You would be working as a generalist who works across functions and sometimes needs to work either on sourcing or communication or marketing etc. - Track progress, create alignment, and encourage engagement around measurable goals - make data-driven decisions based on insights. - Driving new initiatives in terms of marketing & distribution alliances, customer delight initiatives and more. - Own the problem statement, work with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, operations, finance, tech etc) to drive solutions - Conducting primary and secondary market research to understand the customer preference and identify the gap in the market and launch new products at the right price to capture this gap. Key Requirements: - A minimum of 5 years of experience in any consumer driven industry (D2C Experience will be given preference). - A very good understanding of Shopify, Tech tools like GA & UX will be preferred - Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to communicate across cultural and experience levels, internal & external. - P&L responsibility from past experience is a MUST - A test-and-learn mindset as the idea continues to evolve - Strong entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to perform and deliver. - Experience working in high-growth startups and setting up processes will be preferred
