Designation: Sales & Strategy - Founder's Office

About the Job
We are hiring for a Sales & Strategy position within the Founder's Office, working directly with the Chief Business Officer (CBO). This is a high-impact role focused on driving growth, strategic initiatives, and venture-building efforts. You'll act as an extension of the CBO, supporting business planning, sales strategy, partnerships, and special projects across the company. Ideal for candidates from VC, family offices, or consulting backgrounds looking to take ownership and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as the right hand to the CBO, supporting business planning, revenue strategy, and leadership priorities.
- Identify and validate new opportunities aligned with Thence's venture-building thesis.
- Conduct market research, trend analysis, and opportunity assessments to build strong business cases.
- Lead and execute GTM strategies for new ventures, driving measurable business outcomes.
- Support business development by identifying new revenue streams, partnerships, and strategic alliances.
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders - including investors, ecosystem enablers, innovation hubs, and industry leaders.
- Drive operational excellence and organizational efficiency by contributing to cross-functional strategic projects.
- Collaborate on special projects to solve high-value business problems across sales, delivery, and operations.
- Represent Thence in forums and industry events to strengthen our brand presence and ecosystem credibility.
- Identify potential risks in new initiatives and formulate mitigation strategies.
- Track and measure the success of strategic initiatives using key metrics and KPIs.
Job Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience in strategy, venture building, sales, or business leadership roles.
- Prior experience working in venture capital firms, family offices, growth consultancies, or fast-scaling startups.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale business initiatives independently or in a leadership capacity.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities; experience in market research and opportunity evaluation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; confident interacting with senior stakeholders and external partners.
- High ownership, bias for action, and comfort with ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation, experimentation, and value creation.
