About Us : The Yarn Bazaar is a Managed (full stack) Vertical B2B Marketplace solving the problem of broken supply chain & working capital constraints in textiles - a very large, yet highly fragmented market that we are looking to transform. Founded in July 2019, Pratik Gadia conceptualised the idea of The Yarn Bazaar while working for his family business in Textile Manufacturing. It all started when Pratik was trying to procure yarn for his textile unit and faced multiple issues due to a severely broken supply chain. Since July 2019, we have already completed transactions worth over - 300 crores on our platform, all on 100% advance payment with no credit, working capital, financing, or inventory. What we are looking for : - We are looking for a rockstar Senior Manager -Finance & Accounts who will be responsible for overseeing the organization's Finance & Accounts and providing insights and financial advice to help the company make the best business decisions. You must have a strong functional understanding of all aspects of Budget Planning, Funds Management, MIS Reports, and Statutory Compliance as they relate to the overall business goals. You will contribute to the management of organisational cash flow forecasting by collaborating with stakeholders/delivery teams to prepare and maintain cash flow analysis. You will generate regular financial reports on budgets, accounts payables, accounts receivables, and expenses - collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial data and developing long-term business plans based on the financial reports. - You will play a critical role in The Yarn Bazaar's transition from a start-up to a scaleup and be one of the key leaders in this hypergrowth journey. Responsibilities : - Prepare the company's budgets and forecasts. Liaise with all departments to gather the necessary budget input and ensure the budgets are updated as required by management. - Monthly Operational Review: Monitor and review the submission of monthly performance by analysing budget vs. actuals. - Enhance Payroll Accuracy and Efficiency: Maintain accuracy and efficiency in payroll processes, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. - ESOP Management and Communication: Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to ESOPs and communication to build trust and confidence among employees. - Cash Flow Forecasting & Planning: Monitor and review the Forecasting & Planning of Cash flow with the Management. - Monitor & Review of Actual Cash Flow V/s Projected at the end of the month. - Financial Reporting & Statutory Audit / Internal Audit: Finalising the Audit balance sheet interacting with Auditors. - Taxation & Compliances : a. Review TDS payments with quarterly returns. b. Review GST payments with monthly returns and also support for audit of GST Annual returns. c. ROC Compliances - ensure timely filing of MGT7, XBRL or any other matters. d. Monitor & timely filing of Annual Tax Audit and Income Tax return. - Investor & Internal MIS: Provide customized reports based on vestor and internal stakeholder requirements. - Cost Audit: Handling & Reviewing the Cost Audit (Yearly), wherever applicable. - Toolkit Development: Maintain a comprehensive toolkit for potential investors, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. - Data Room: Efficiently manage the company's data room for due diligence purposes. - Accounting Operations: generate and oversee the daily operations of accounting department. Skills & Qualifications : - Should be a qualified Chartered Accountant. - Minimum 4 years of experience in managing Finance and Accounts in a start-up. - Expertise in accounting processes including Accounts/Balance Sheet Finalization, MIS Reporting, TDS Returns, 26AS reconciliations, reviewing General Ledger, Intercompany match, maintaining Fixed Asset Register, and Knowledge of Compliance PF, ESIC, Gratuity etc. - Strong understanding and proven application of applicable laws, guidelines,regulations, ordinances, and policies. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Impeccable integrity. - Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and relationship building skills. - Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced & constantly changing environment. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficient in Google/Microsoft Office suite or similar software and experience working with a CRM or ERP software.
