Founded in July 2019, Pratik Gadia conceptualised the idea of The Yarn Bazaar while working for his family business into Textile Manufacturing. It all started when Pratik was trying to procure yarn for his textile unit and faced multiple issues due a severely broken supply chain. What we are looking for: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior supply acquisition manager for our rapidly growing company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's supply of products and services. You will be responsible to build the supplier base for TYB & manage the team of Supply Managers. You will need to look for cost-effective deals and develop relationships with vendors. Responsibilities: - Build, Develop and lead the supply acquisition team - Having knowledge of Fabric sourcing and Trim - Good communication skills & devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies. - Develop new vendors and new products - Negotiate to bring down the procurement price in line with Procurement saving goals. - Coordinates regularly with other departments to assure effective and timely coordination and team work in procuring goods and services. - Provide procurement research, guidance and direction by presenting available procurement options. - Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships. - Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms. - Incorporates best practices and market research into procurement practices. - Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. - Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company. - Exhibits a strong sense of urgency to maintain high personal performance while making decisions and allocating resources in a cost - efficient manner. - Control spends and builds a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs. - Maintains complete record of authority contracts for goods and services. Skills: - 4+ years of proven work experience in textile sourcing/procurement. - Experience of sourcing and vendor management and relevant software - Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement - Strong project management and leadership skills - Very strong ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships - Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data Qualifications: - Bachelor's/PG degree in business administration, sales, or related field. - 2+ years of experience in business development - Experience working with CRM or ERP software - Experience in supply /procurement is desirable
