Our economic inclusion journey for 25 million Indians has reached 10 states with $250M of government funding to cover 1.25M people.

Our incubator, accelerator and grand challenges have supported 200+ social entrepreneurs including 17 Forbes 30U30, 3 EarthShot Prize winners, 1 Time Magazine cover and more.

Set up with support from 90+ eminent philanthropists, 40+ corporates and 15+ foundations including Gates, Mackenzie Scott, Vinod Khosla, Nandan Nilekani, Tata Trusts, Skoll, Meta, LinkedIn, HDFC, Mphasis, KPMG and L'Oreal, we are contributing towards a "poverty-free India, within our lifetime".

What are we solving for?:

We are solving for households in poverty who are also financially and socially vulnerable through a targeted, multi-faceted, and sequenced model called the graduation approach, which has demonstrated that we can durably pull households out of poverty.

At The/Nudge Institute, we have been piloting this program for the past 3 years and are now scaling it across multiple states.

Our purpose is to enable the most excluded individuals to become contributing members of the economy.

What will you do?:

1. Learning strategy for field teams:

- Translate program goals and competency frameworks into role-wise learning plans for state field teams.

- Prepare and implement program level, annual and quarterly learning calendars for field teams, aligned to program timelines (cohort cycles, key interventions, audits).

- Coordinate with Operation leads and state leads to identify critical capability gaps and prioritize interventions (technical, process, behavioral).

2. Design and delivery of learning:

- Support design and contextualization of training modules, and micro-learning content for economic inclusion (livelihoods, coaching, case management, data use, dashboards).

- Deploy a mix of learning methods: in-person training, coaching, field exposures, online modules, and refresher sessions.

- Facilitate train-the-trainer (ToT) for field teams and manage a pool of internal trainers and champions at field level.

- Identify and onboard external trainers, wherever needed.

3. Performance tracking, coaching, and continuous engagement:

- Analyze performance and field outcome data with program teams to identify patterns, root causes, and learning needs.

- Design and run people-excellence needs assessment and initiatives.

- Regularly review feedback from learners, trainers, and managers to refine content, delivery formats, and support systems.

4. Systems, processes, and documentation:

- Work with internal teams to design learner pathways and journeys, content (LMS/Zoho, shared drives, playbooks).

- Create reports that are well documented and accessible.

- Support setup and smooth functioning of tools and automation processes.

- Contribute to knowledge products (case studies, process notes, toolkits) that can be replicated across states and programs.

5. Automation, data, and AI first mindset:

- Automate key people- and learning-related processes, workflows, and data flows to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and free field teams to focus on core program work.

- Champion the use of AI tools to accelerate content creation, personalize learning, sending nudges and streamline routine L&D operations.

- Continuously scan for new automation and AI opportunities that can increase productivity of field teams and L&D.

Who are we looking for in this role?:

- Postgraduate degree in rural management, education, development studies, economics, HR, or related field.

- 8-10 years of work experience, preferably in Learning & Development, capacity building, or people development, preferably in large-scale field programs (economic inclusion, livelihoods, public health, financial inclusion, or similar).

- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing training or people-development initiatives for frontline or distributed teams.

- Experience working with government or non-profit programs is an advantage.

- Strong facilitation and coaching skills with comfort in field settings.

- Ability to translate program design and data into practical learning interventions and tools for field staff.

- Understanding of Learning design and Implementation in rural Indian setups.

- Data comfort: basic analysis of program and learning data to generate insights and recommendations.

- Comfort with workflow automation and LMS, forms, app script, basic integrations, with an eye for simplifying and standardizing processes.

- Openness to experimenting with AI tools for productivity (content generation, analytics, dashboards) while maintaining human oversight and contextual judgment.

- Relationship-building skills to work with leadership and field teams.

- High ownership, adaptability, and willingness to travel extensively.

What We Offer:

- Impact at Scale: Be part of a transformative mission aimed at lifting millions out of ultra-poverty.

- Growth Opportunities: Work with a high-impact, mission-driven team, engaging with diverse stakeholders across India and globally.

- Inclusive Environment: We are committed to diversity and encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply.
