The Lalit - National Sales Head - Travel Trade

Key Responsibilities:

- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a national sales strategy to maximize revenue through travel trade channels.

- Market Development: Identify and onboard key travel agencies, tour operators, and online travel platforms to enhance business reach.

- Revenue Growth: Set and achieve sales targets by optimizing existing accounts and developing new business opportunities.

- Relationship Management: Foster long-term partnerships with key stakeholders in the travel trade ecosystem.

- Brand Promotion & Representation: Represent the company at travel trade events, exhibitions, and networking forums.

- Competitor Analysis: Conduct market research to track industry trends and competitive strategies.

- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate a nationwide sales team to drive performance.

- Budgeting & Forecasting: Manage financial planning, pricing strategies, and sales forecasts for travel trade channels.

- Negotiations & Contracts: Handle contract discussions, pricing agreements, and promotional deals with key partners.

Key Requirements:

- Experience: Minimum 10 years in travel trade sales, preferably in the hospitality or tourism sector.

- Industry Expertise: Strong knowledge of travel agencies, tour operators, and online booking platforms.

- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and manage a high-performing sales team across multiple regions.

- Communication & Negotiation: Excellent networking and relationship management skills.

- Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field (MBA preferred)
