Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Head to join our growing team at The Indus Valley. The HR Head will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our human resources strategies to support our ambitious growth plans and uphold our commitment to excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies aligned with business needs. Manage manpower planning, budgeting, and utilization across various channels for candidate sourcing, particularly for managerial and niche roles.
- Monitor recruitment metrics such as recruitment funnel efficiency, time to hire, time to fill, yield ratios, and offer acceptance rates.
2. Performance Management:
- Align organizational objectives with individual employee goals using OKRs.
- Conduct thorough performance assessments, including Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and appraisals.
- Implement fair and transparent rating systems and link them to salary hikes.
- Ensure compliance with performance management policies and procedures.
3. Compliance and Policy Development:
- Collaborate with Genicon and Aprajitha to manage compliance.
- Develop, communicate, and update HR policies in line with legal and organizational requirements.
- Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline HR processes and ensure compliance efficiency.
4. Organization Development:
- Design and optimize organizational structures to enhance efficiency and agility.
- Define clear career paths and job roles to support employee growth and development.
- Implement retention strategies and foster a positive organizational culture.
- Conduct regular industry analysis to stay ahead in talent management practices.
5. Team Management:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the HR & Admin team to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance team skills and capabilities.
- Implement strategies for retaining top talent within the HR team.
- Conduct daily follow-ups to monitor progress and proactively address any issues.
6. Conflict Management:
- Mediate workplace disputes and facilitate conflict resolution to maintain a harmonious work environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent and address conflicts among team members.
7. Contract Staff Management:
- Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of contract staff. Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and manage vendor relationships effectively.
8. Compensation and Benefits Structuring and Administration:
- Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits packages aligned with industry standards and organizational goals.
- Manage payroll processes and ensure accurate and timely disbursement of salaries and benefits for both headquarters and warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Head or similar senior HR role, preferably in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
- Managed a large workforce of 200+ full-time employees (FTEs) across business operations.
- Mandatory industry experience in both Manufacturing and Corporate environments.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices in India.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving startup culture.
