Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant to manage overall plant accounting, financial reporting, costing, inventory, and taxation for a manufacturing setup. The role requires strong expertise in accounting, MIS, direct and indirect taxation, statutory compliance, and plant finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts & Plant Finance:

- Handling plant accounts and day-to-day accounting activities

- Preparation and finalization of Balance Sheet, P&L, and financial statements

- Managing cost accounting, product costing, variance analysis, and cost controls

- Overseeing inventory accounting, valuation, reconciliation, and physical verification

- Preparation of MIS, budgets, and financial analysis for plant operations.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance:

- Managing Direct Taxation including Income Tax computation and return filing

- Handling TDS compliances applicable to the manufacturing sector (deduction, payment, returns, and reconciliations)

- Managing Indirect Taxation including GST compliances

- GST return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)

- GST reconciliation (GSTR-2B)

- Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements under Income Tax, GST, and other applicable laws.

Audit & Compliance:

- Coordinating with statutory, tax, and internal auditors

- Supporting audits related to GST, Income Tax, and Cost Audit

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Strong exposure to manufacturing / plant accounting

- In-depth knowledge of Direct & Indirect Taxation

- Hands-on experience in Income Tax return filing and TDS compliances

- Excellent knowledge of GST and procedures

- Experience in costing and inventory management

- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Excel

- Strong analytical, compliance, and communication skills.
