Job Description: Chartered Accountant - Plant Accounting

Location: Panoli, Gujarat

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and result-driven Chartered Accountant to manage the Plant Accounting function at our manufacturing unit in Panoli. The role requires strong expertise in cost accounting, inventory management, statutory compliance, and financial controls, along with the ability to partner closely with plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

Plant Accounting & Cost Control

- Oversee and prepare day to day plant accounting, balance sheet, including cost accounting, inventory valuation, and product costing.

- Monitor manufacturing costs, variances, and operational efficiencies.

- Ensure accurate accounting of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.

Financial Reporting & MIS

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet & Profit & Loss).

- Prepare and analyze plant-level MIS reports (daily/monthly/quarterly).

Compliance & Audit

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, Income Tax, and other regulations.

- Coordinate and manage internal, statutory, and tax audits.

- Cost control

Working Capital & Operations Support

- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock management.

- Accounts payable/receivable processes related to plant operations.

- Assist in improving working capital efficiency and cash flow management.

Qualification & Experience

- Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory

- 6-7+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably in manufacturing/plant environment

- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and plant finance

- Familiarity with ERP systems, SAP is preferred

- Good analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
