The Global Delivery Centre (GDC) in Gurugram is ERMs global operating backbone. It delivers business enablement services in Finance, HR, IT, and Commercial Operations to ensure ERMs global business runs seamlessly, efficiently, and consistently.

At the GDC, you will:

- Be part of a hub that ensures ERMs business continuity worldwide.

- Collaborate with colleagues across geographies to support global operations.

- Drive consistency, compliance, and efficiency in core functions.

- Work with digital, automation, and AI-enabled tools to optimise how ERM operates.

- Work in shifts where required, depending on the role. As processes mature and automation increases, reliance on shifts will reduce.

Role Purpose:

The R2R Manager is responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and compliant accounting close and financial reporting from the Global Delivery Center (GDC). This role leads close-cycle optimization, balance sheet integrity, and audit readiness across regions, while embedding standardized processes, templates, and controls to support ERP go-live and post-implementation stability.

The role partners closely with regional finance teams, Internal Controls, FP&A, Tax, and Audit to ensure transparency, consistency, and scalability in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Close & Reporting:

- Lead global month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities across regions.

- Own general ledger, reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and financial reporting processes.

- Ensure adherence to close timelines, quality standards, and accounting policies.

Process Standardization & Controls:

- Harmonize global chart of accounts (CoA), accounting policies, and close calendars.

- Oversee journal entry governance, accruals, provisions, and balance sheet substantiation.

- Strengthen SOX/internal control compliance through standardized templates and documentation.

Audit, Tax & Compliance Support:

- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits.

- Support tax, statutory, and regulatory reporting requirements with accurate and complete documentation.

- Ensure compliance with IFRS / US GAAP and local statutory requirements.

Transformation & Automation:

- Drive close-cycle efficiency through process optimization and automation initiatives.

- Leverage tools such as OneStream, Power Automate, and ERP reporting solutions to improve

visibility and control.

- Support ERP go-live, stabilization, and future finance transformations.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Partner with FP&A to ensure accuracy and transparency in management reporting.

- Collaborate with Internal Controls, Tax, and Regional Finance teams to resolve issues and enhance governance.

- Provide leadership and guidance to GDC teams to deliver consistent outcomes.

Experience & Capabilities:

- 10-12 years of experience in R2R operations, accounting, controllership, or audit.

- Proven experience managing end-to-end close and reporting in a global or shared services environment.

- Exposure to process transition and participation in ERP or consolidation system replacements.

- Strong technical accounting expertise with IFRS and/or US GAAP.

- Demonstrated success in streamlining close cycles, improving reconciliation quality, and strengthening controls.

- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage global finance, tax, audit, and leadership teams.
