We are looking for an experienced Lead Record to Report (R2R) to manage end-to-end R2R operations, ensuring timely financial close, accurate financial reporting, and compliance with accounting standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in General Ledger accounting, month-end close, process transitions, ERP systems, and team leadership within a Shared Services or Global Business Services (GBS) environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) operations, ensuring accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close.

- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, provisions, adjustments, and financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.

- Manage General Ledger (GL) accounting activities, including account maintenance, reconciliations, and chart of accounts governance.

- Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations for bank accounts, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, accruals, and other key accounts.

- Oversee intercompany accounting, settlements, reconciliations, and issue resolution with global stakeholders.

- Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and asset register maintenance.

- Analyze financial results, identify variances against budgets and forecasts, and provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.

- Lead a team of 1215 finance professionals, ensuring productivity, performance management, coaching, and capability development.

- Drive process transitions, knowledge transfer, stabilization, and successful migration of finance processes into shared service operations.

- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and standardization to enhance operational efficiency.

- Support internal and external audits by ensuring compliance, documentation, and adherence to internal controls.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Tax, Treasury, IT, and Global Process Owners to support business initiatives and ERP enhancements.

Required Skills:

- 1014 years of experience in Record-to-Report (R2R), General Ledger Accounting, or Financial Reporting.

- Proven experience leading finance teams within Shared Services (SSC), Global Business Services (GBS), or multinational organizations.

- Mandatory experience managing finance process transitions or migration projects.

- Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, accounting standards, and financial controls.

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Workday Financials.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

- Excellent communication and leadership abilities with experience managing global stakeholders.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict financial reporting deadlines.
