The DataFlow Group - Senior Analyst - Corporate Strategy/M&A

Job Overview

We are looking for a high-performing Senior Analyst to join our Corporate Strategy and M&A team. In this role, you will be a key driver in shaping the company's long-term growth by identifying inorganic opportunities (M&A) and developing strategic initiatives. You will work closely with the leadership team to evaluate market trends, build complex financial models, and execute high-impact transactions.

Key Responsibilities

- M&A Execution: Support the end-to-end deal lifecycle, including target identification, financial due diligence, and deal structuring.

- Financial Modeling: Build and maintain detailed valuation models (DCF, LBO, Comparable Company Analysis, and Merger Models) to assess potential acquisitions and investments.

- Strategic Research: Conduct market mapping, competitive benchmarking, and industry analysis to identify "white spaces" for growth.

- Presentation & Reporting: Craft high-quality investment memoranda and strategy decks for the Board of Directors and Executive Leadership.

- Project Management: Assist in post-merger integration (PMI) and track the performance of strategic business units against long-term goals.

Candidate Profile

- Education: CA / MBA from IIMs or Top-tier B-schools / Graduates from IITs or premier engineering colleges.

- Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in Management Consulting (Big 4/MBB), Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or an in-house Corporate Strategy team.

- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (financial modeling) and PowerPoint. Familiarity with AI tools is a plus.

- Soft Skills: Sharp analytical mind, "ownership" mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
