Experience
- Total experience required is of 8-10 years in relevant industry handling Direct Field Sales and Channel / Distribution Partners
- Should have experience in selling testing and measuring instruments (similar to Testo products)
- Should have experience in selling to major industrial segments i.e., HVAC/R, Power, Cement, Steel, Pharma, Food, Etc.
Location Pune/Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore/Hyderabad
Education
- Graduation: B. Electronics / Instrumentation / Electrical / Diploma in Electronics / Instrumentation / Electrical Engineering
Attitude, Skills & Knowledge
- Good influencing and persuading skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication & presentation skills
- Needs to be self-motivated and self-driven and result - oriented.
- Should possess the qualities of perseverance and patience.
- Good Technical understanding and knowledge of measuring instruments
Responsibilities
Summary
- Responsible for all the development & performance of Distribution / Channel Partners sales as well as Direct sales activities in assigned region to various customer segments & assigned strategic market nationwide.
- Order Income for assigned customers & penetrate the market Sales Region wise.
- Should have sales experience in HVAC/R industries, Pharma Industries, for products like e.g., Transmitters, Data loggers, Thermal Imagers, Flue Gas Analysers, portable instruments etc.
- Realization of customer visits within Sales Unit/Sales Region with the objective to generate orders along with Channel Partners & systematic development of potential customers.
- Systematic exploitation of up-selling and cross-selling potentials
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
- Maintain, Develop and grow Key Accounts business in assigned regions as per plan.
- Technical Support to existing Channel Partners
- Increasing his product wise quantity over the previous year
- Launching of new products to customers and generating marketing plan for it.
- Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
- Participate in marketing events such as exhibitions, seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
- Follow-up for collection of payment, any pending dues with customers in assigned territory
Special Work Conditions: 80% travel required
