Role Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Assistant Area Sales Manager to support and drive sales growth across assigned territories. The ideal candidate is a well-organized professional with strong prospecting skills, relationship-building capabilities, and the ability to support sales strategy execution while mentoring team members to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Market Development
- Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth in new and existing markets.
- Identify potential customers, market opportunities, and competitive trends.
- Support area-level sales planning, forecasting, and target achievement.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and channel partners.
- Understand customer needs and propose suitable solutions to maximize sales and satisfaction.
- Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution of customer concerns.
Team Support & Mentorship
- Work closely with the Area Sales Manager to support day-to-day sales operations.
- Mentor and guide sales executives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Support onboarding, training, and performance improvement initiatives.
Talent Acquisition & Coordination
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to identify, interview, and recruit top sales talent.
- Assist in workforce planning and team capacity management.
- Support performance reviews and development plans for sales team members.
Execution & Reporting
- Track sales performance, pipeline, and key metrics.
- Prepare regular sales reports, MIS, and market analysis for management.
- Ensure accurate documentation of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts.
Process & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to company sales processes, pricing policies, and compliance standards.
- Support implementation of new sales tools, CRM systems, and reporting processes.
- Provide feedback to management on market dynamics and customer insights.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience & Skills
- 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or field sales.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience managing or supporting sales teams is a plus.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office.
