Role Overview:
The Performance Marketing Manager will lead and optimize Testbooks paid marketing initiatives across multiple digital platforms. This role is critical for driving growth, improving acquisition efficiency, and scaling Testbooks presence across key exam categories.
The ideal candidate is analytical, data-driven, and experienced in handling high-budget multi-channel campaigns. You will manage the complete funnelfrom campaign planning to execution, optimization, and reportingensuring continuous improvement in ROI and customer acquisition metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and optimize high-impact digital campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn, and affiliate/partner networks.
- Monitor real-time campaign performance and analyze key metrics to consistently improve ROI, CAC, CTR, and conversion rates.
- Work closely with creative, product, and analytics teams to design compelling ads, landing pages, and user journeys aligned to business goals.
- Strategically manage, allocate, and track marketing budgets across channels to maximize efficiency and performance.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify emerging trends and growth opportunities.
- Develop, maintain, and automate performance dashboards using analytics tools to provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Run A/B tests, experiment with new campaign strategies, and adopt best practices for scaling digital marketing efforts.
- Ensure seamless tracking and attribution by collaborating with tech and analytics teams on pixel setups, events, and analytics configuration.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports highlighting key wins, learnings, and future recommendations.
Requirements:
2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in performance or digital marketing.
Proven expertise in:
- Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube)
- Meta Ads Manager
- Analytics platforms including Google Analytics / GA4, Looker Studio, etc.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and influence decision-making.
Experience managing significant paid marketing budgets and scaling campaigns profitably.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working with experimentation-led marketing strategies.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with different teams.
Good to Have:
- Prior experience in EdTech or other fast-growing tech-driven organizations.
- Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, retargeting funnels, and CRM tools.
- Certifications in Google Ads, Meta Marketing, or related domains.
- Understanding of attribution models, customer lifecycle, and marketing automation.
