Test Architect Head

Description:

- Inviting applications for a highly skilled QA Test Architect with a strong background in test automation frameworks, modern QA practices, and AI-driven testing solutions.

- You will play a key role in defining the QA strategy, enabling scalable test architectures, and implementing intelligent testing mechanisms that leverage machine learning, NLP, and AI models.

- This is a hands-on leadership role where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, guide QA best practices, and drive quality across all stages of product development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and own the end-to-end QA architecture and automation strategy, including tools, frameworks, and infrastructure.

- Design AI/ML-based quality solutions, including predictive defect detection, test case optimization, and intelligent test data generation.

- Lead the evaluation, adoption, and implementation of AI tools in testing (e.g., test impact analysis, visual validation, self-healing tests).

- Mentor and guide QA engineers across automation, performance, and exploratory testing.

- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and data scientists to ensure quality is embedded early in the SDLC.

- Establish and track quality KPIs; implement test analytics and dashboards.

- Oversee CI/CD pipeline integration, ensuring fast feedback and test reliability.

- Evaluate and integrate open-source and commercial tools for automation, performance, security, and AI-driven testing.

- Drive shift-left testing practices and introduce AI-powered test authoring and execution techniques.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

- 10+ years in QA/Testing, with at least 4+ years in a test architect or similar senior QA role.

- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit).

- Experience in AI/ML model testing or building AI-enabled QA solutions.

- Proficient in at least one programming language: Java and JavaScript.

- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.) and performance testing (e.g., JMeter, K6).

- Experience in setting up test strategies for web, mobile, and microservices architectures.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Nice to Have:

- Exposure to Generative AI tools or use cases in QA.

- Contributions to open-source testing tools or community.

- Exposure to AI testing tools like Testim, Functionize, Applitools, or self-healing frameworks.

- ISTQB Advanced Test Architect or similar certification.
