Tesco - Lead - Financial Planning & Analysis Core

As a Lead FP&A Core, you will be at the heart of Tescos financial planning and analysis function, driving key financial processes and delivering meaningful insights that support business decisions.

This role involves managing financial forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and performance analysis while partnering closely with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with Tescos strategic objectives.

You Will Be Responsible For:

- Leading core FP&A processes including long-range planning, annual budgeting, and periodic

forecasting.

- Delivering clear and insightful financial reports and variance analyses to senior leadership.

- Driving standardization and continuous improvement across financial processes and tools.

- Supporting business reviews and decision-making through scenario modelling and what-if analysis.

- Acting as a trusted finance business partner across global teams and functions.

- Ensuring data integrity and compliance with Tescos financial control frameworks.

- Mentoring and guiding junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture.

You Will Need:

- A professional qualification (CA, CIMA, CPA, MBA Finance or equivalent).

- 10+ years of experience in FP&A or financial business partnering roles, preferably in a multinational environment.

- Strong business acumen and commercial understanding.

- Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and financial systems like SAP, Anaplan, or Hyperion.

- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

- Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
