Job Description:
Paytm is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Manager (TSM) to manage and grow its merchant network in the assigned territory.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the banking, fintech, or soundbox/payments device sales sector and a strong understanding of digital payments and merchant acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive merchant acquisition and retention for Paytms products and services (Soundbox, QR, POS, etc.
- Manage and expand the merchant network within the assigned geography.
- Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets through effective field sales strategies.
- Build strong relationships with merchants, distributors, and channel partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide timely feedback to management.
- Train and support field sales executives to ensure consistent performance and productivity.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in banking, fintech, or payment solutions sales.
- Candidates from PhonePe, Fino, Airtel Payments Bank, or similar organizations will be preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable with fieldwork.
- Good understanding of local markets and merchant dynamics
