Role Overview:
As a Territory Head, you will lead a team of Corporate Sales Managers (First Level Leaders) to achieve business goals for your territory.
Youll drive sales, manage costs, build strong relationships with channel partners, and develop your team to deliver high performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong engagement with Channel Partner leaders (Branch/Cluster/Circle Heads, TPP team, etc.) to ensure smooth business operations.
- Drive business KPIs - revenue, market share, product mix, upsell, persistency, and attrition control.
- Plan and execute business travel for team and partner engagement.
- Mentor and develop CSMs/Sr. CSMs to effectively lead their frontline sales teams.
- Ensure proper onboarding, training, and engagement of new FLS to reduce attrition and boost productivity.
- Build teams through referrals and maintain full manpower.
- Manage sales processes, business hygiene, contests, and organizational initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business goals.
Work Experience:.
- 12-15 years of sales experience into core life insurance.
- Minimum 5-8 years in team management.
- Must have experience in Banca channel with Open Architecture exposure.
- BFSI/Insurance channel sales experience preferred.
Qualifications:. Graduate (Post Graduate preferred).
Preferred Skills:.
- Strong sales planning & team management.
- Good understanding of MIS, data analysis & dashboards.
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills.
- Ambitious and result-oriented leader.
