Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end execution of Industry 4.0 and manufacturing innovation projects from project initiation through successful delivery.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, resource plans, and project governance frameworks.
- Develop and execute change management strategies to support digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing facilities.
- Create and standardize project management processes, templates, documentation, and reporting mechanisms.
- Prepare detailed project schedules, milestone tracking plans, risk registers, and project dashboards.
- Assess manufacturing plants for AI readiness, including evaluation of sensors, PLCs, IIoT infrastructure, edge devices, traceability systems, and cloud connectivity.
- Work closely with customers to understand manufacturing challenges and translate business requirements into technical project plans.
- Conduct workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions to drive successful adoption of AI-based manufacturing solutions.
- Coordinate with product management, engineering, implementation, sales, and customer success teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, resolve escalations, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Build strong relationships with customer leadership and plant teams to drive successful digital transformation initiatives.
- Facilitate communication among customers, vendors, implementation partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Track project KPIs, implementation success metrics, and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with project governance, quality standards, and documentation requirements.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence, Industrial Automation, and Digital Manufacturing technologies.
Required Skills & Technical Expertise:
- Strong project management experience covering planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, and project closure.
- Hands-on experience managing Industry 4.0, Smart Factory, or Manufacturing Digital Transformation projects.
- Cloud-based manufacturing platforms.
- Digital manufacturing ecosystems.
- Knowledge of Predictive Maintenance, Predictive Quality, Energy Optimization, and AI-driven manufacturing solutions.
- Experience in manufacturing shopfloor digitization and automation projects.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production workflows, and industrial processes.
- Experience with project planning tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across technical and business functions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Candidates from premier engineering institutes such as IITs, NITs, IIITs, or BITS will be preferred.
- Experience in the metal, steel, aluminum, foundry, or process manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Exposure to AI, Machine Learning, or Industrial Analytics projects will be an added advantage.
