Key Responsibilities:

- Lead complete production operations for RTDs, Thermocouples, and Thermowells, ensuring adherence to production schedules and customer delivery commitments.

- Develop and implement production plans to maximize manufacturing efficiency, resource utilization, and productivity.

- Monitor daily production targets and ensure optimum machine utilization with minimal downtime.

- Establish and improve manufacturing processes through continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.

- Ensure compliance with quality standards, inspection procedures, and customer specifications throughout the manufacturing process.

- Supervise fabrication, machining, welding, assembly, testing, and final inspection activities.

- Optimize manufacturing costs by reducing process waste, improving productivity, and enhancing operational efficiency.

- Manage production teams, supervisors, and operators by providing leadership, performance monitoring, and skill development.

- Coordinate with Quality, Design, Engineering, Purchase, Stores, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth production flow.

- Drive preventive and corrective actions for production issues, quality concerns, and process bottlenecks.

- Ensure effective inventory management of raw materials, consumables, WIP, and finished goods.

- Monitor production KPIs including productivity, rejection rates, machine efficiency, OEE, and on-time delivery.

- Ensure strict adherence to workplace safety, statutory regulations, and company policies.

- Participate in new product development activities by coordinating with design and engineering teams.

- Support automation initiatives and implementation of modern manufacturing technologies to improve operational excellence.

Technical Skills & Requirements:

- Excellent knowledge of contact temperature sensor manufacturing processes.

- Experience in lean manufacturing, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.

- Knowledge of automated manufacturing systems and production planning.

- Familiarity with production documentation, process validation, and manufacturing best practices.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with SAP ERP for production planning, inventory management, and manufacturing operations.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.

- Excellent leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.

- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- 7+ years of experience in instrumentation manufacturing, preferably in temperature sensor manufacturing.

- Experience in the automobile instrumentation industry will be an added advantage.

- Proven experience in managing medium to large-scale manufacturing operations.

- Strong people management and cross-functional coordination skills.

- Ability to work under pressure while meeting production and delivery deadlines.

- MBA is preferred but not mandatory.
