Position Overview:


We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Development Manager (SDM) to lead and scale our outbound sales development efforts for the US market. This role is critical in building a predictable pipeline by driving outbound strategy, managing lead qualification processes, and ensuring high-quality discovery call handoffs to the sales team.


The ideal candidate will have strong experience in B2B IT services sales development, deep exposure to the US market, and the ability to manage outreach performance, CRM discipline, and conversion metrics. This role will also involve mentoring SDRs (where applicable) and continuously optimizing outreach strategies.


Key Responsibilities


Outbound Sales & Lead Generation:


- Own and execute outbound sales strategies targeting US-based prospects through cold calls, personalized emails, and LinkedIn outreach.


- Drive consistent lead generation aligned with IT services offerings and target accounts.


- Identify business pain points and position solutions effectively during initial conversations.


Lead Qualification & Discovery Management:


- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on business needs, budget, authority, and timeline (BANT or similar frameworks).


- Ensure high-quality discovery calls are scheduled and handed off seamlessly to the sales team.


- Maintain strong communication between prospects and internal stakeholders during the pre sales stage.


Pipeline & CRM Management:


- Build, track, and manage a healthy sales pipeline across all outbound activities.


- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in HubSpot and Zoho CRM, including lead status, notes, follow-ups, and reminders.


- Ensure CRM hygiene, reporting accuracy, and visibility for leadership review.


Collaboration & Strategy Alignment:


- Work closely with sales, marketing, and leadership teams to align messaging, target accounts, and campaign strategies.


- Share insights from prospect conversations to refine outreach scripts, value propositions, and GTM approaches.


Performance Tracking & Reporting:


- Track outreach activity metrics, conversion rates, meeting quality, and pipeline contribution.


- Provide regular performance reports and insights to leadership.


- Identify gaps and improvement areas to enhance lead quality and conversion efficiency.


Required Skills & Qualifications:


- 3 to 5 years of experience in B2B sales development, specifically within the IT services industry.


- Proven track record of outbound lead generation, discovery call scheduling, and pipeline creation for the US market.


- Hands-on experience with HubSpot and Zoho CRM, including reporting and workflow management.


- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage US-based stakeholders confidently.


- Demonstrated expertise in cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn-based prospecting.


- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.


- Solid understanding of the US IT services market, buyer personas, and common business challenges.
