Role Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst will act as a strategic FP&A business partner, supporting. Engineering (Development) and Workplace/IT functions.
This role requires strong ownership of infrastructure cost analysis, cloud spend governance, and cross-functional financial planning, along with the ability to work closely with VP-level stakeholders to drive data-backed decision- making.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with VPs and functional leaders across Engineering, Workplace, and IT teams.
- Translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Influence decision-making through financial storytelling.
Infrastructure Cost & Financial Ownership:
- Manage infrastructure cost planning (AWS, Azure, GCP, hosting).
- Drive cost optimization (FinOps mindset).
- Track unit economics.
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Perform variance analysis.
- Build financial models.
Cost Allocation & Reporting:
- Manage cost allocation (COR vs R&D, cross-charge).
- Deliver executive reporting.
- Support KPI tracking.
Process Improvement & Systems:
- Improve financial processes and automation.
- Enhance visibility into infra spend.
- Work with tools like Anaplan, Adaptive, NetSuite.
Qualifications Required:
- 7+ years FP&A / Corporate Finance experience.
- CA / CPA / MBA (Finance).
- Experience with Engineering / IT business partnering.
- Infrastructure / cloud cost expertise.
- Advanced Excel and modeling.
- ERP systems experience.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management.
Preferred:
- SaaS / tech company experience.
- FinOps exposure.
- BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
